New school reaching for the stars with their fundraising!

In January this year, Leigh North Street Primary School in Southend-on-Sea, heard about Your School Lottery from another local PTA that was already reaping the rewards of hassle-free digital fundraising.

The icing on the cake came when they got a phone call to let them know that they were the lucky winners of our £1,000 sign-up incentive! Head of Your School Lottery, Phil Wright, visited the school to present them with their cheque, and sat down with PTA member, Danielle, who had this advice for schools that may be considering signing up:

As well as this lucky sign-up bonus, the PTA has really made an effort with promoting their new lottery - and how it is paying off! With over 100 supporters playing the lottery every week, the school has already raised over £1,000!

The team have promoted on social media using their free personalised marketing materials, as well as communicating with parents via class WhatsApp groups, and school-wide on Parentmail. They've even put posters with QR codes (also available on their marketing hub) up around the school and staffroom. With all this promoting, they're on target to raise a whopping £2,000-a-year for their school!

So what are they using this money for?

As well as all the usual PTA events, school supplies, and equipment, Leigh North Street is lucky to have a swimming pool (we're not envious at all - honest!) - a wonderful facility for the school and the wider community, but an expensive one! Much of their fundraising goes towards the upkeep of this fantastic feature.
