The lucky supporter of Friends of Budehaven Community School was Mr Andrew Sachs, who went to the school himself (we won't say how many years ago!), and now has two children there.
Mr Sachs said:
"Initially I was very surprised as it came totally out of the blue, but am grateful for the fresh opportunity to get out on the road again!"
He also encourages other to play and support their school too:
"It's only a small price to pay to support your school, so if more people join in your contribution will have a greater impact and help towards positive change. Plus, you never know when your luck might be in!"
